Seattle to Gorge amphitheatre

Hey yall, this is my very first posting. I am new to this stuff. I am planning a trip to Dave Mathews Band concert in Quincy, WA (The Gorge) in late Aug. I am trying to figure out the best way to get from Seattle airport to the Gorge. My flight only arrives at noon so most of the buses/trains have already left for the day. Any ideas?

Renting a car is going to be your best bet. It's a little less than a 3 hour drive from Seatac, I'd say.

The Gorge Amphitheater is actually in George Wa. 7 miles south of Quincy. Just take I90 east about 150 miles. As NW said renting a car is about your only option.

Was just thinking......

If you're into camping you might wanna bring a sleeping bag and tent.
The campground on the hill above the amphitheater is party central after the show. Don't plan on sleeping

Rent a car right from SeaTac airport, and drive from there, is by far your best (only?) option.

That's also Labor Day weekend, so get a car and blast off ASAP. Be prepared for serious traffic getting out of the Seattle area.

For more music than you can handle after the Gorge, check out the offerings in Seattle at Bumbershoot. www.bumbershoot.org.

Wow, thanks to all you peeps for the info. That's what it looked like to me too. This is really for my son and he's camping at the Gorge with a friend, sleeping bag and all that fun. Thanks for all the help.
