Woops, thought it was Belltown, anyway, it's a great location. Small rooms, but felt like a classic European hotel, with great artwork/photography. Not to mention complimentary parking!

No biggie, it's just technically Belltown starts a few more blocks to the north than where Max is located. Still a good tip about the hotel, thanks.

pdx, Also good tip on El Gaucho. Thanks. My office is very near there, I should walk by sometime.

I always recommend Mayflower Park and Warwick, which are fine places, but it's nice to have a few more suggestions in this mid price range (~$150/night).
