Seattle Help Please

I'm back to ask another question as our trip on 15 March approaches (that is if Northwest pilots don't strike).

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if "Teatro ZinnZanni" is appropriate for our grandchildren ages 11-17. We don't leave until midnight on the 18th, and I just thought it might be a good thing to do before we went to the airport. Is it worth $100? Or would they hate the dinner.

Thanks everyone. Owa

Hmmm, I haven't been myself but can ask around the office. See if anyone with kids has seen the show.

I've been (coupla-three times) and I would not take kids to TZ.

I think kids 11-17 would enjoy it - many of the actors are from the Cirque de Soleil and so many of the acts are similar. Some of the humor may be a little off color- so dont know how you or they would feel about that.
I think adults would get more out it but than kids and at $100 it makes an expensive night- but I think its one of the most fun things to do in Seattle

I would hesitate because of (a) the cost, (b) the length - 3+ hours is pretty long for an 11 yo to sit with 99% adult-oriented performances, and (c) being the only kids in the place. IIRC I've not seen teens or pre-teens in attendance when we've been there. I might be wrong - it's a big venue.

TZZ is for adults. The dinner. menu is available on line.

At www.nwsource you might find a more appropriate entertainment option. Some children in the 11-17 age range might enjoy Game Works and/or a movie.

Thank you all for helping me to see that I need to keep looking for a different idea of how to spend Saturday night. Owa
