Scottsdale Recommendations

We are going to be in Scottsdale for one night. We are debating which of the following resorts to stay at Arizona Biltmore, Hyatt at Gainey Ranch, Marriott at Camelback Mountain, or the Phoenician? My husband enjoys golfing and I'm interested in the spa treatments as well as the pool facilities. Any recommendations?

You can't miss with any of your selections, they are all top-notch...and for one night and one golf game, you just can't miss. The only one you mentioned that is in Scottsdale is Hyatt, the rest are in Phoenix.

The Hyatt at Gainey Ranch is great, but the Phoenician is primo!

I just stayed at the Phoenician last month. Honestly, it's one of the best places I've ever stayed. The staff was superb, the pools and grounds (and golf) were excellent! The spa was all right. I would suggest that you try and get a room that is not in the main building; it may cost a bit more, but well worth it (IMO). You'll have a great time. Camelback Mountain is OK roomwise, but their spa is superb.

The Biltmore is in Phoenix, not Scottsdale.

The Phoenix - Scottsdale border is at 64th street. The eastern boundary of the Phoenician (except for part of the golf course) is 64th street . The hotel is in Phoenix
