We really enjoyed the Gastonian when we were in Savannah a couple of years ago. They've cleverly connected two restored 1868 buildings. The two buildings are beautifully furnished with English antiques. The hospitality was gracious and the breakfasts outstanding. They recommended the Pink House for dinner and my husband still raves about his meal there. Have a great trip!

there was a GORGEOUS b&B we walked past....right on one of the squares in the town.....vines and greens all up the steps to the front door with a big porch....check out the websites and see if you get that view....close to $200 per night but a beautiful place...sorry I can't remember the name but it was great.......just walked through and the owner gave us a tour!! Definitely go to the Pink House.....relax down stairs and enjoy the music before or after dinner - - it's a lovely city.

If you are looking for a moderate B&B, check out "The Bed and Breakfast Inn". I stayed there once. It is not as lavish a B&B as most in town, but then, its not $200 night. We paid $75. It was nicely decorated, clean and the hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was great and its located in the historic district. Like I said, you will not get as pampered there as some other B&Bs, but its a nice place for the price.

If you are going around Christmas, they have a tour of inns on one weekend and then a tour of homes on another in December. Try to plan your trip around one of these. Also, check out the Pink House.
