It's worth going to if you can. If not, I'd go earlier than later - although May will still be nice. I haven't followed the link above but I don't remember a significant difference between April and May re rain in Savannah.

Either will be nice. March 22-25 should be as close to perfect as one can predict.

May is a beautiful time to visit Savannah. There is a lower risk of the spring rains spoiling your visit, it is a bit warmer but not too hot, and you should still get to enjoy some of the spring bloom!

I saw the link above, but honestly have found it to be less-rainy myself in my own visits. Honestly, I think you will be fine and love it in either month.

Things don't get bad until June. Late March through May should be OK, with the earier in May the better.

The Savannah home and garden show always seems to be late March and the ladies who run it know what they are doing.
