I'm deciding between staying at the Fairmont Miramar and Loew's Hotel. They both look nice and well situated. Has anyone familiar with both and can comment? I will be in Santa Monica for a few days on business and hope to enjoy the area in the early morning (a run on the beach?) and in the evenings. I am sort of on the picky side as far as cleanliness and quality of hotel room!!
Any feedback is appreciated!

We had nice meals at Shutters on the Beach hotel, and it looked quite nice to stay there, too. Or, the Sheraton Delfina, a couple of blocks up the street, is very nice and less expensive.

Enjoy your visit to the States!
