I've booked with them a number of times using the phone which allows a little more information gathering about the accomodations. One of the cutest places we stayed at was along Alameda a block from Canyon Road. They have a small kitchen with chairs & table, oven stove, fridge. Small living room and bedroom kingsize bed (when requested) with bathroom, No fireplace though. Very cozy and reasonable, especially this time of year. Ask questions about the property though, like if it has offstreet parking, which can be difficult in Santa Fe or if it's an upper unit vs lower unit.

Well, that is true and like the author I use online transactions judiciously, always looking for my lock icon to appear. Basically, I was making the point that one should verfiy what they are getting before booking because we did book the Secrets location and had to move. Turned out there was an occupant in the room above us who walked the floors ALL NIGHT LONG! So Santa Fe Accomodations had no problem moving us after our complaint. At any rate have a wonderful time in Santa Fe! We were there in December 2001 and you can tell there has been an impact on tourism since Sept 11 with fewer people around town. Prices on art seem to be coming down too.

I haven't, but you really don't need to. Searching under "Santa Fe Lodging", you will find many many s.fe hotels listed with descriptions, pictures, and phone numbers. There are so many wonderful places to stay. I hope you have a good time there. do you need some recommendations?
