Subway to Peter Luger's?

I've a reservation at Peter Luger's for Thanksgiving night. Last time I was there, maybe be 10 years ago, I took a taxi to and car service(?) from the restaurant. I haven't used the subway much as I prefer to walk or grab a taxi. Can anyone tell me which train(s) I should catch from Grand Central (I'm staying in the Westin nearby) and which stop I should get off at?

I've looked at the subway map and can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks

A bit complicated by train. You will have to change, and then walk or take a bus, as far as I know.

I think the closest train route is to take the M to Marcy Avenue and walk from there.

Maybe take a taxi back after dinner.

The M train route I mention above will require a walk to the train stop in Manhattan, on 6th Avenue and 42nd Street, and then about a 7 minute walk from the station to Peter Luger.

If you decide to take a taxi, you probably won't have a problem finding one on 2nd Avenue. They book the return car for you.

Thanks guys, I'll probably play it safe and grab a taxi. I'm buying dinner so my brother can pick up the cab fares lol.
