Sanibel and Marco Island

Seeking information on a romantic and moderately priced hotel/B&B on Sanibel island in February. Beachfront is preferred. Also, seeking same for Marco Island. Is anyone familiar with the Marriott on Marco Island? Thanks.

Hi Paul,
My husband & I stayed at the Marco Island Marriott this past Sept. It was absolutely beautiful! The entrance alone is breath-taking! The beach was gorgeous & only for guests of the Marriott. The grounds were clean & well maintained & we felt like royalty staying there. One of the nicest Marriotts we've ever stayed in-& we've stayed at alot.
We took a drive to Sanibel Island while we were down there & it was beautiful too! We have never stayed there, but I am sure that you could find a nice B&B to stay at if that is what interests you. There are alot of good B&B Books that we have used quite often & they are usually right on.
If you do happen to stay at the Marriott on Marco Island & time allows, you HAVE to go to this movie theater right near there that serves dinner while you watch the movie. Being from the New York area, we have never experienced anything like it! We felt guilty spending one of our vacation nights at the movies, but it was well worth it!
Wherever you end up staying, I am sure you will enjoy yourself!
Have fun,
Amy

It's not a B&B but a great beachfront condo on Captiva, next to Sanibel. Visit www.vacationspot.com/2112southseasplantation.htm for photos and a complete description. It's a great romantic spot.
