San Francisco/Lake Tahoe

Are there tours from San Fran over to the casinos? I am intersted in kiling some spare time while in San Fran and have the usual Gray tours booked.

There are tons of Gambler specials going from the Bay Area to Reno and presumably Lake Tahoe. Usually subsidized by the casinos. Which casino do you want to Visit? Harrahs, Ceasers, etc. You could contact the casinos to find out.

Am I correct that you are visiting SF and you're thinking of leaving SF for Lake Tahoe to gamble? Well, I can see now that there is less and less I have in common with posters on Fodors. The thought of leaving SF for Tahoe is fine but for the purpose of taking a gamber bus to a Tahoe casino is too much to bear. If you have spare time there are wonders to see in and around SF and there is plenty to see in Tahoe and its environs.

Shirley, greyhound offers services from SF to Reno and maybe Lake Tahoe. www.greyhound.com. I'm sure the casino will offer you an incentive or package of incentives to visit their place when you get there. Depending on the number of stops, expect this trip to take a minimum of 4 hours.

Yes, I can see that you have NOTHING in common with Fodors posters who all have open minds & understand that not all travellers have the same interests. We also attempt to answer peoples' questions with information & experience that we have -- not with attitude & condescension.

Good luck Shirley -- Win Big!
