san francisco hotels

visiting oct. 2-6th. looking for hotel with a view. fisherman's wharf or otherwise. any suggestions? also looking for b&b in napa valley for one night.

Budget? Amenities? View of the Bay or are city lights enough of a view?

Hotel Vitale. Hyatt Regency. Both have bay views. I have no idea what "mid-priced" means in the abstract, but both of those are probably mid-priced for San Francisco.

Mid range is an arbitrary amount. Is there an actual dollar range?
