Hi k_marie - gow are you! thanks for your post. I did. On August 22, I mentioned I chose The Andrew. I hope it works. I'm just going with it, if it's not ideally situated, I'll just have to spring for public transit, taxis and Uber. I like My Seattle base, though had some walking and getting lost challenges yesterday.

Sorry I didn’t remember about The Andrews, ninasdream. We just returned from an 11 day road trip and have just a week to regroup before setting out again. (My at-home test this morning was negative so I really am fine!)
Here’s hoping the remainder of your trip goes well. Our latest visit to San Francisco included a visit to the deYoung and then a CityGuides walking tour of the nearby Japanese garden. I highly recommend both. We used a muni train and transferred to a bus to get there from our daughter’s home. During our upcoming visit (which unfortunately does not correspond with yours) we’ll return to SF MoMA for the Diego Rivera exhibit.

K_marie your trip sounds wonderful. Enjoy. I definitely wasn't chastizing you for not seeing my hotel choice, and appreciate your interest. I hope to see Diego Rivera at SFMOMA too. The last time I saw extensive collection of his work was in Mexico City, so it's time for more! Thanks for the tour tips.

Hey Suze, thanks for asking, In Seattle, staying at The Baroness on Spring St. and like it. About a 3 minute walk to the Frye Museum. Around the corner from the excellent Sugar Bakery, and 206 Burger.

Hi ninasdream, Thanks for the answers. Hope both hotels work OK for you. The Baroness is an interesting location on "Pill Hill" by the hospitals (great choice for being close to Town Hall).

Hi Suze, I made that trek up the Spring St. Hill TWICE today! You're right, was perfect location for bring near Town Hall. I really like the place. I had a packed day & I will sleep well tonight.
