My wife is also running......We've been frustrated as well with all the hotel choices...Anyone have any feeling about the hotels on Geary Street? I'd been warned away from them? Thanks.

For Bishop Dawg: What are the names of the hotels on Geary Street? If they are close to downtown or Union Square then they should be okay, if they are going out away from this area you might run into some rather shady ones. Do you have any names?

Tammy - A Bay Cruise is always fun. If you are near the Ferry Building (can't miss it - it is a clock tower) be sure to stop in. Fun "foodie" shops.

Be sure to bring "layers" of clothing - it can be windy around the water.

Whenever my cousin from Chicago comes we have to go to the Marina Green for the view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

You'll love it there.
