Salt Lake City---April Weather

We are going to be in Salt Lake City in 2nd week of April. We are really looking forward to it. However, what sort of clothing would we need to bring with us (Weather is changing so fast). Heavy jackects etc.? or will medium weight sweaters etc do?
Could someone advise.
Thanks.

Hi PJ! We're warmly up quickly! Already at 50 here in Park City. The snow is going fast!

April in the valley, SLC, can be just about anything. Usually warm sunny days with cool nights. Be prepared for some rain - but don't rule out a late spring snow storm either. Happens every year right after all the tulips & daffodils come up!

Probably won't need heavy jackets. Even if it does snow, it will melt right away.

Have a nice trip!
