Safe from Katrina
Our prayers were answered when our son
Mark and Lynn and their three year old and baby
arrived at our house at 1 am this morning. Thank
goodness! Trees were down all over and only part of
the road was passable, but they made it. Picayune, Mississippi will
be without power for a month! They don't think there
were any fatalities there. Lots of wind damage, of
course.
And my cousins in Hammond, LA are safe, too with no damage to
their house!
We still have very little phone service here in Eunice, LA.
Poor New Orleans - there is no good news there.

You must be so relieved!
My co-worker's family was in New Orleans, they managed to get out to join another family in Baton Rouge where the hurricane was not expected. They got hit, but everyone is alive.
I just wish there would be no human losses...
