Running Across North America (... sort of) :-)
A friend of mine and I just did a road trip across North America and had a fantastic time, meeting wonderful people and seeing amazing places. We highly recommend doing this. The United States is an amazingly beautiful country. We made a little funny video about our trip. I hope you enjoy it:

=D?

I LOVE this video! It is my new favorite travel video. This took a lot of work and planning and editing. It is wonderful. A little like Forest Gump and his friend.
a few ?s:
The one in back dropped something at the Grand Canyon. What was it you dropped and did you go back to retrieve it?
Did you run up Angels Landing? That would be quite a feat. And I noticed that it is hard to run through the Narrows!
How long in time was your trip? How long did it take to plan it?
I LOVE the Boston T shirt at the end, nice touch along w/the Atlantic to the Pacific theme.
Kudos!!!

Wow! This is awesome. Thank you for watching the video and for the very encouraging response.
By the way, my friend dropped his camera in the shot where we are entering the Grand Canyon, but we did get it back
(he were tempted to re-do the video but it seemed more fun with the bit about dropping the camera in it) Or maybe we were setting up a sequel... ;-) (just kidding)
And yes, we were certainly inspired by Forest Gump and also by Matt (the guy who dances in front of landmarks around the world).
We didn't run up to Angel's Landing. It's too dangerous. You have to climb up holding on to chains.
My friend did go all the way to the very end. I just went up to the platform shown in the video. What a wonderful place!
I personally loved Zion and Arches the most, but it's a difficult choice. It's a very beautiful country!
Thank you for watching. Please tell people about it. It did take a lot of work to put it together, so it's really fun when people watch it and leave comments.
Enjoy your travels and have a wonderful week!

The one thing I wondered was how you did the boat shots in the beginning.... Where are you guys from? I'd imagined somewhere Latin America...but was curious... Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed North America! I've been coast-to-coast and have found the landscapes equally inspiring (although by train (a few routes), not by running). Going to Zion with my family is an incredible memory from my teenage years!
All the best, Daniel
