Room needed

I live in Philadelphia and am planning on visiting AC 8/26 through 8/29 to see some shows. I am looking for a reasonably priced room for those three nights. I really would like to spend less than $100 per night. Any suggestions, ideas, etc. would be appreciated. I have had no luck so far in finding something cheap.

AC=Atlantic City

There's a Holiday Inn across the river near the PATCO commuter train line. Here's a reply I received awhile ago:

Thank you for your interest in the Holiday Inn Cherry Hill. The PATCO is
right across the street at the Garden State Pavillon. Also the SEPTA "speedline" has stops in Collingswood & Westmont that are approx. 5 minutes away. If you would like more information and to make a reservation you would need to call our front desk and ask to speak to our reservations manager at 856-663-5300. Thank you and have a good day.

You might try the classified ads in you local newspaper under "rooms for rent".

Beanie -- did you try Showboat or Caesars? Sometimes they have specials...you may get a low enough rate for the Sunday night to make up for whatever you pay on Friday and Saturday nights. Check their websites or call, but often they have a "room and show" package where you get a room under $50 and a free ticket to whatever revue they have there. (You don't have to *go* to the show, of course -- it's just a good way to get a cheap room!)

hi, if you don't find an answer, you might repost with a title like "cheap hotel in Atlantic City" and skip mentioning Phildelphia (since it has nothing to do with the info you're seeking). room needed doesn't really tell us much.
