Road to Denver International Airport

On my map of Denver, route 470 from I25 north of the city east toward the new airport is shown as being under construction.

Is this route now finished?

It looks to me like it would make the task of getting to the airport from Fort Collins considerably simpler.

Yes, it is completed. It will shorten your time. But,have your money ready, it's pretty expensive as toll roads go.

How about turning east north of Denver on state route 7 (160th ave) to US 85, and then drive south on US 85 to the intersection with that same road? Does that work?

I take 470 to and from the airport and it's great. When I am in Denver I am off I25 south of Denver and IMO, it is worth the $4.50 toll to avoid all the construction in town. I don't know what the construction is like going through town and heading north.
