The only thing I know of that's of interest in Riverside is The Mission Inn, an old, historical hotel. Other than that Riverside is hot, smogy, and not very unique.

I cannot imagine why you would want to go to Riverside! Family? Business? There certainly is no other reason I can think of!

Anyone expecting to find ANYTHING of interest in Riverside is bound to be sorely disappointed. The only reason why I'm stuck in this hell of a hole is bcause I'm a student at the university here, but I get away every chance I can get. If you do insist on coming, Joe's is NOT the place to eat. Instead, for brunch, try the Mission Inn, for lunch try Simple Simon's (across the pedestrian mall from the Mission Inn), and for dinner, good luck (Romano's in Canyon Crest beats Joe's by a long shot though).

Not to sound redundant but I agree with all the above. Riverside is not where you want to spend your time. If you're able, you'd probably want to consider Orange County or the San Diego/LaJolla areas. There is ALOT more beauty and fun things to do. Good Luck!
