RIO Seafood Buffet well worth it...

The Rio Seafood Buffet is the best in Vegas!! It is expensive (30.00)but you can eat your weight in real lobster tails (Small tails but unlimited amounts)and shrimp. And if that is not enogh, they offer shell fish of every kind cooked 10 different ways and if you still have room there is a humongous selection of desserts made fresh daily, everything from cheesecake to pumpkin pie and everything in between. They also offer other types of food whick rotate such as a mexican area and italian etc..All this for 30.00. I love the way they give you a number so you can spend your time playing while you wait and when your number is on the electronic board it is almost immediate seating. Dont miss the voo-doo lounge after dinner for a great view of the strip. If you are worried about transportation. Harrahs on the strip has a shuttle every 15 minutes and its free!!
Have fun!!!

I just love the Rio. That's where my
husband and I got engaged! I love their
carnival world buffet (if you can just\
get past that name) and the Voodoo Lounge or restaurant is so good. That's
why I keep going back to vegas is for the
Rio

Heads ups on a special deal!

The Rio Casino has a relationship with Harrahs Casino. If you are NOT a member of Rio's Casino Club, but are a member of Harrahs, you can go sign up for a Rio casino club card, show them you Harrahs Casino club card, and ask for a new memeber comp of a free Rio Dinner Buffet! You can sign-up for the Harrhs card the same day if you are not a memeber of their casino club. that's what we did, and we got 2 free buffet dinners!

That sounds like a great deal, Anthony. Any idea how long they'll be doing that? My husband and I will be in Vegas for a few days after xmas and I don't want to waste my time going to Harrah's and then Rio unnecessarily if the offer has expired.

For those of you interested in the free buffet at Rio mentioned by Anthony, I was informed by some locals there that this promotion ended in February or March of this year.
