Restaurants near Lincoln Center

Have tickets for The Nutcracker, Lincoln Center on Friday 12-14. Any recommendations of restaurant to have intimate dinner after the show would be appreciated.

Try Gabriel's. It's on 60th Street between Broadway and Columbus Avenues. It's a good, quiet, Italian restaurant. I would think dinner for two would run you around $60 or so, depending on whether you have drinks.

Another lovely restaurant which is very close to Lincoln Center is that you might want to consider is:

Picholine
35 W. 64th St.
New York, NY
212-724-8585

You can get more details about this place if you go to www.citysearch.com, then go to New York, Restaurants. Or you could just type in the search area: Picholine. Hope this helps.

Try Nick & Toni's Cafe on West 67th Street (212-496-4000). It fills your "intimate" requirement.

Zarg - Did Lisa ask you to top this? Was Lisa unable to top this herself? Topping is unfair to the new posters who want their new questions answered.

Howard; I'm interested in Nick & Toni's Cafe - can you give me an idea of type of food and price range? Thanks!

Anti-topper; find something else to do
