Restaurants near Florida Sun Rail Stops

We are two adults who will be taking the Florida Sun Rail for a day, boarding in Debary and riding through to one of the stops in Orlando (Church Street, 250 Columbia St, or 8030 S. Orange Ave at Sand Lake Road) then returning back to Debary later in the day. Just a day's outing. Can anyone recommend a good restaurant within walking distance from one of the Orlando stops or any sites to see? We are not familiar with Orlando and could use some help. Also, does anyone know if you can hop on and hop off the train at various stops with one round trip ticket?. Thanks for any help you can provide !!!

Do not get off at Orange Ave/Sand Lake!! There is absolutely nothing there.

Get off at Church Street for easy access to downtown Orlando and many restaurants or get off at the Winter Park station for access to Park Avenue and many restaurants and shops.

Also, do not get off at Columbia street unless you need to go to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

If you get off in Winter Park, you have a myriad of good restaurants on Park Avenue to choose from. One of the very closest restaurants to the SunRail station is Bosphorous http://www.bosphorousrestaurant.com/index.html but there are many other good ones within a very short walk along Park Avenue.

Other sites to see would include the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour http://www.scenicboattours.com/ The boat tour is maybe 3 blocks away.

Vic, the huge puffy pita bread they bring out is yummy. Love just walking by there and smelling the food. When will they run on a Saturday? Would be so nice for shopping and lunch. My friend lives very near the Lake Mary stop.

"When will they run on a Saturday?"

You mean SunRail? Nothing definite yet, but I suspect that it's coming in the future.
