Restaurants in Cambria?

My husband and I are going to Cambria for 3 nights in March, staying at the Blue Dolphin Inn on Moonstone Beach. We were there 2 years ago for 1 night and had dinner at the Sow's Ear and really liked it. This time we'd like to try some new places. I've heard there's a good seafood place on Moonstone Beach and others in town. I'd love to hear any recommendations you have! Thanks.

For lunch in Cambria, stop in at Lombardi's for Italian food - it's located next to the post office on a side street. At the far end of town, there is a place that serves great outdoor barbecued ribs and chicken on the weekends. It's very popular and don't be surprised to find a line...it's very casual and is well priced.

As for more of a nicer place for dinner, many people recommend Robin's and Bramble's. Mustache Pete's is also good for a nice Italian meal.

Check to see if Hearst Castle is offering the evening tour in March...it's definitely the best way to see the castle. If you do go to the Hearst Castle, also stop and see the National Geographic movie on the making of the castle.

Sea Chest Oyster Bar on Moonstone Beach Drive is wonderful! Sit at the oyster bar if you can and get to know the cooks. The calamari is my favorite. One negative is the wait sometimes 1-1/2 to 2 hours, they don't take reservations.

I had an amazing dinner at Robin's in Cambria. Great atmosphere, with a fireplace. The food was wonderful. I had salmon. The wine list was good too. Excellent chocolate mousse.
