Restaurant to impress in Naples

Hello!
My parents recently moved down to the Naples FL area. I'd like to send them out to a nice restaurant on me...to celebrate their retirement and their new home.
Could someone please let me know their opinions regarding restaurants in the area? Money is no object in this situation. Parents are pretty open-minded, will try any cuisine.
Thanks for your help!

We have always enjoyed the Shoney's in the Naples area. The salads are huge and they use real iceberg lettuce.

Hope this helps

If you are looking for a trendy restaurant and very good I would recommend 821 Bistro right on 8th Street in downtown Naples or if you want to go all the way the Ritz Carlton has one very upscale restaurant with several digustation menus around $75-$95 per person or I think it was called the Grill Room which is not as expensive but still very nice( entrees from $20 and up). I think older folks would enjoy the Ritz more than Downtown. THey also have a beautiful piano bar in the lobby where thay can have a drink after or before their meal. THey can also walk aorund the gardens. I REALLY recommend it if money is no object.

Shelly, I'd like to suggest the Old Marco Inn on Marco Island. Absolutely magnificent! BK

Its me again, my husband just got back from Naples yesterday and said he saw a new restaurant that looked beautiful from the outside called Annabelle's.By the way I don't think I made it clear that the Ritz has nice two restaurants.
