Restaurant suggestion for Gualala, California

We'll be staying down the road at Sea Ranch. We've eaten at the Lodge and at St. Orres and would like to try something new. Any good ideas? Gualalalisa or R5, you out there? Thanks.

Maybe St Orres - but I haven't eaten there in years and it is hard to know if standards are the same. I've heard good things about Top o the Cliff but have not eaten there myself.

Thanks janis. I'll look into Top of the Cliff. We liked St. Orres when we were there a few years ago, but want to try something else this time.

Top of the Cliff is my favorite restaurant here but my hubby favors Pangaea, a foodie hangout on the east side of Highway 1.

Top of the Cliff has a view, a full bar, and a lot of locals hang out there since the Gualala Hotel closed. Owner and award-winning chef Shirley Ranieri is awesome, IMO!

For something not quite as fancy, try the Meza Grille, also with bar and view. And you can't go wrong with St. Orres as long as Rosemary is in charge!

Let me know if you have any other questions. I've been here 25 years so I should be able to help.

Hello Lisa!

Thanks for posting. I think the Top of the Cliffs is going to be it. As my Argentine friend says, "muchos besos".
