Jeeze - I don't think we have any "scene" like Pinks up here in San Francisco. The line can get a little long at BiRite ice cream - but I know I enjoy BiRite's salted caramel more than I think I would enjoy a Pink's dog.

Bud lives immediatly below my FIL at the Regent Condos on Baldwin in San Mateo. A few weeks ago, we showed Bud the "listing" for the house we purchased on Jersey Street in '75. The description of the house didn't say much except "walk to Bud's". Bud chuckled when he read the sales description of our house.
