Restaurant help near Centreville, VA?

Hello. I would really appreciate help. My boyfriends mom lives in Centreville, VA (we''re in NJ) and we'd like to take her out for a nice traditional Thanksgiving dinner, but since we don't know the area, it's a little hard to plan. I'm looking all over the web but its still hard.

If anyone could recommend a nice restaurant, mid-$$, not too casual, but
not too dressy, that's within, say 20-30 minutes from Centreville, you have no idea how much it would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance. And happy holidays.
Christy

Christy,

Since Thanksgiving is in 3 days...think you may also try posting on AOL 'Virginia' travel board.

Christy - I live in Reston (about 10 min. from Centreville). I don't know any places in Centreville, but Reston Town Center has many nice restaraunts like Mc Cormack and Schmick (mostly sea food). The Market Street Grill in the Hyatt in Reston is very, very nice. There is also Paolos and Clydes. There is a lovely rest. in Great Falls called Indigo and an expensive french rest in Great Falls called Le Relais. You could head out to Leesburg (about 20 minutes) and try Tuscarora. Very nice setting and good food. Your best bet is to check out the zagat web site (zagat.com). You have to join, but its free and will list restaraunts in Northern Virginia with ratings from customers. Enjoy!!

In Haymarket, about 15-20 min. west of Centreville,is a little place called PW's. It is extremely good and extremely filling. They have a Thanksgiving buffet of everything you can imagine a traditional Thanksgiving meal. I think this year it is about $25 per person.

From Centreville take 66W to Rte. 29W(toward Warrenton). I think it is your first right onto John Marshall Hwy, Rte. 55. Then it is only a couple miles to the purple awninged building on your right.

I'm not sure of the times, I think it runs all day, but not sure. Your Boyfriend's Mom can look it up in the phonebook and find out for sure.

I highly recommend it!!
