Restaurant advice

We're thinking of reserving a table at the restaurant, Daniel. Is this a good move? Has anyone had some good experiences here? Your help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks.

P.S Would Jean Georges be a better option??

Hi William-That is a hard choice. I have been to both and they are excellent. You will have to book one month in advance, so keep that in mind. I really have no preference-Jean George is a more contempory room, has a lively bar, wonderful food and service, proabably a little lighter than Daniel. Daniel is beautiful, more European design, outstanding food and service too. It is a hard choice! Both are in lovely locations in New York City. Enjoy!

Penny's right on both counts:
1. You can't go wrong with either.
2. Make reservations right away!

Thankyou for your comments. Sorry James, I should have said, New York.
