Red Tide...Gone!

This is good news for those planning to visit FL this spring. Finally, finally they have pronounced the entire state free of the red tide event that has plagued us since 2017. There are no signs of it anywhere, thank heavens. Come on down...the weather AND water are great!

And yet I saw that TODAY they will start releasing waters from Lake Okeechobee for the next four weeks. So we can only hope that doesn't cook up some more red tide.

And we continue to avoid addressing the actual causes of the Red Tide which have to do with agricultural run-off.
