Recommendations re: Pompano Beach

Might try to visit friends in Pompano Beach next month. Have never been there -- need nice motel in the area - don't mind a little drive.... How is Lauderdale by the Sea??

Lauderdale by the Sea is a much nicer area than Pompano.

We enjoy the Embassy Suites Deerfield Beach Resort which is just over the Pompano line in Deerfield.Beach is across the street.
