Recommendations for Las Vegas resturant for party

I'm beginning to plan a "destination" wedding in Las Vegas with about 30-40 guests, and would like some recommendations for a nice resturant for a post-ceremony dinner. I want to stay away from a banquet type atmosphere- but a place that has an intimate feel, high quality food, and festive atmosphere. There's so many choices in the guides and on the web, that I could use a little help.

I went to a Las Vegas wedding about 2 years ago. The couple was married at The Riviera and afterwards our party of 20 ate at the restaurant there. I know that The Riviera is not one of the "newer" hotels there, but honestly it was a fabulous meal and it was a very nice restaurant. Most of the guests had lobster and then at the end they served these great bonbons on dry-ice (I guess?) for dessert that "spilled" smoke all over the table, it was neat and I still have the pictures. From what I can remember the restaurant was somewhat small, and 30-40 people might reserve the entire place, but then again my memory could be bad by now! There are probably more "trendy" places to be though, I guess, but that was my experience there and it was a good one.

Kristin,
Where are you staying and is it the same place that you are having the ceremony?
There are plenty of great places that could fit your need at one of several hotels. A sense of your price range would help narrow the list.

My nephew got married last summer at the Flamingo Hilton. The wedding dinner was held at a restaurant called Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris Hotel. The service, food and ambiance were perfect. There were about 25 of us, but I'm sure they can accommodate more. I highly recommend Mon Ami Gabi.

For someplace fun with good food, you might want to consider a wedding reception at the Voo Doo Lounge at the Rio Hotel.
