Radio City Music Hall seating

Have a chance to get front row seats for a RCMH show. I know in some theaters the front row is a neck-breaker. Any thoughts on RCMH? Should I try for further back? Appreciate the help!

Normally, that's too close. The Music Hall is a giant theater with a giant stage, What's the show? (If you're a groupie, and the performer is your absolute idol, then maybe you want to be that close!)

I once sat in about the fourth row for the Christmas show, and I couldn't see anyone from the knees down once they were about half way back on stage (and I'm 6 ft. tall). In the front row I'd think there would be a lot you don't see unless it is a performer who stands at the front edge of the stage for the whole show!!

Agree with above posters. The stage is huge; you won't even be able to see the whole stage from the front row. We sat in 10th row seats for a Rockettes show and that was way too close.

Thanks, folks! That's exactly the info I hoped for.
