Quikbook re booking Hotels Naples Fl

Does anybody know or had experience of booking online with Quikbook, are they safe and reliable to book with? we live in Dublin Ireland and want to book the Esclante Naples Fl, and are worried about giving card details upfront and being charged before we travel instead of paying when leaving the hotel.
Thanks,
Roland & Irene.

Quikbook's OK. I've used them with no problem.

I have used them twice and been very pleased. I was a bit hesitant too the first time but they have very good rates and service. After I reserved a room at a New York City hotel via Quikbook, I called the hotel directly and they could not match the room rate.

another vote of confidence for quikbook. I use it all the time, never a problem, they have even reduced rates if I've booked and then they offer a lower rate at a later date (I usually check the rate a few days before my trip)

That's good to hear but did you have to pay upfront when you booked (direct to quikbook), or could you pay you bill in the usual way (to the hotel) when you were checking out?

I had to pay the whole thing up front.

Just booked room in NYC from Quikbook, 2nd time I have used them. In both cases, my card # was used as a "guarantee" but no charges were processed until check out.

Now it may work differently since you are not US resident, but shouldn't think so since I have booked (directly with hotel) in Paris & the procedure was the same -- card # for reservation & change processed when checking out.

You might want to double check -- or try another Naples hotel. Certainly there must be many to chose from.

Are you being offered a special rate via Quikbook? I'd just book directly with Escalante, otherwise, perhaps even on their website. I'm sure they don't charge you until you leave. And, no, MHS, there is no other hotel in downtown Naples even remotely like the Escalante.
