Question on Fremont Street light show

Hi all. Next month my wife and I are going to Las Vegas for the first time, and among many other things we're planning to see the Light Show. I'd like to know where exactly it takes place and what time it starts and ends. Thank you.

Go out in front of the Freemont hotel. The street is covered with sort of a web-like arched roof. You can't miss it. The show is run all evening on the hour. (maybe more often?, but for sure at the top of each hour.)There are several different versions (rock & roll, country, etc), so go more than once.

Thanks. But as far as I understand it starts running only after dark, right?
