Question about tours in NYC?
Hey there, this is my first post so forgive me if this has been answered before.
I'm currently planning a trip to New York, nothing is final yet and I haven't booked it. I'm really just trying to piece together what I'd like to do and so on.
I was looking through the Virgin holidays brochure and it mentioned they're are tours of movie locations and also a Sex & The City spots tour. I was just wondering if anyone had been on these tours and if so are they worth the money and more importantly the time? What are they like and so on?
I'd appreaciate any advice or recomendations. Thank you.
Joanne.

OK - so maybe I have a scrooge-like attitude towards those tours. But bear in mind that the producers of those TV sitcoms hunt around town for likely spots for filming. This is such a diverse and exciting town - you can do the same - and better. Hit the East Village - all sorts of cafes, restaurants et al with character (and good food and drinks) or Greenwich Village, or Lolita, Tribeca. You can be your own Sex and the City.
