Providence Airport to Downtown Boston

Will be flying into the Providence, R.I. airport. Is there any convenient way to get to downtown Boston from the Providence airport. Really don't want to have to rent a car and try to park in Boston.

Don't know schedule, but Bonanza Bus lines used to have regular trips.

Bonanza is an option, but the last time took the bus, the trip seemed to last forever. I vowed that the next time I would somehow travel from the airport to downtown Providence - there must be a shuttle, then take Amtrak from Providence to Boston.

If you're taking the train from Providence to Boston on a weekday, don't take Amtrak, take the commuter rail trains. They use the same stations but cost a lot less.
