Proposal in Hawaii
Hi everyone,
My girlfriend and I will be going to Kauai later this month. I am planning to propose to her on the first full day of the trip and would like to hear any suggestions for the proposal location, since I won't have an opportunity to scope things out by myself without arousing suspicion. Preferably a more secluded spot. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Polihale Beach at sunset. End of the road on the west end.
Stop at Pomodoro's in Kalaheo on the way back and celebrate when she says yes!
Na Pali Coast is beautiful and secluded, too, but you have to hike in for a decent spot.
You can hike to the top of The Sleeping Giant's head (Nou Nou Trail)that overlooks the whole Coco-coast. 360 degree view of the coast and Mt Waialeale and surrounding mountains/valleys.
Spouting Horn at sunset when the crowds thin out?
Good Aloha to you both.

Aloha Jack -
My pal Kal has some good ideas in the above post, but let me add one more, and that would be at Ke'e Beach at the end of the road on the north shore, where you can walk out a little ways (like about a city block's worth) on the beach and see the stunning NaPali cliffs on your left and at this time of year, probably a decent sunset. My husband and I will be celebrating our 25th anniversary in July, 2003 and plan to alter our usual winter travel plans to Kauai to go that July to renew our vows, and my vote for location would be Ke'e Beach. To me, it's the most romantic spot on the island, although there are many runners-up! Good luck to you and feel free to e-mail me if you have more specific questions.
