Princeville in October?

hi everyone!
I'm planning a honeymoon for October 2001 and was I wondering if anyone has stayed at the Princeville in October? How's the weather? ocean conditions? Has anyone stayed in one of their junior suites? Any other suggestions?
Thanks a ton for your help!

Steve..I like the area, and have eaten at Princeville, but never slept there. The weather in october will most likely be beautiful...75-80', tradewinds of 10-15 miles/hr and dry with possible brief showers in the early mornings. Just like the rest of the year!

October is good, usually less rainy then. Late november usually means constant rain and huge surf. Though princeville/hanalei area is still beautiful in the rain.Fronting the hotel the beach is protected from the surf and has decent snorkeling.

We stayed at the Princeville for our honeymoon -- it is the most beautiful resort I have ever seen. The rooms are lovely and the views are hypnotic. You should definitely splurge for an ocean view. The rain (usually 15 minutes in the afternoon) is refreshing and not intrusive.

FYI - We stayed in a junior suite at princeville last november, 2nd week of the month. Had one day of five rainy. Very nice hotel, helpful staff, plenty to do. Definitely suggest helicopter ride and play the prince course.

Steve - my husband and I stayed at the Princeville in October and it was beautiful. A great romantic place to stay - and the jr. suite is the way to go with an ocean view. You will love it.

Princeville has a beautiful lobby but otherwise the hotel is overrated. We went there in early november last year and the weather was fine but not nearly at sunny as it is down south. We loved the north but the clouds definitely roll in throughout the day and provide for a usual shower or two.
