Here is a link to Maui snorkel rental rates:

Personally, we bring our own gear except for the fins.

Just stayed there Jan 10-15th, would be open to answering questions you have. Most of our group rented snorkel equipment (came with a boogie board too) for the week at a little place in Lahaina (I believe it was Bob's dive shop), rates were very reasonalbe. Do you know what building you're in??

biz - Our room was very clean. We were in building 5 with an ocean view and it was large and comfortable (king bed). The bathrooms are big and there is a mini-frig and great robes in each room.
The Whaler's village is a 10 minute beach path walk away and they have an ABC store to get supplies at. Also the Rusty Harpoon there is a great place for a drink and lunch.
Msg. to Hmmmm - You're right about the snorkel equipment, I think we got ours at snorkel bob's not bob's dive shop...my bad.

miscrapper, check out biddingfortravel.com,go to the maui section and it lists a general idea of what is being sold for the current time frame and future. Right now, the Sheraton seems to be the hotel that Priceline is selling rooms for around 140/night. We paid similar last year for March/April and got the Hyatt. My guess is the poster paid roughly 140-165/night.

bizdawg98, it all depends on what is avaliable at the time. We used PL this time last year for the first time and have used it several times since. We bid and got just over 2 weeks at the Hyatt Regency Kaanapali for around that same price but were bumped for the first two nights to the Sheraton. It was amazing, all they had left was an incredible ocean front one bedroom suite. At the Hyatt, we were given a partial ocean view, better than we expected! I was very pleased with how the front desk at both hotels treated us, never was there any mention of the room being discounted. Fyi, someone a few weeks ago posted that guests of the Sheraton have use of the pool and facilities at the Westin and vice-versa(they are affiliated through Starwood). Makes the price that much sweeter, doesn't it!Enjoy...I'm jealous.

We are paying $388 round trip from atlanta with one stop each way..and $150 a night for the sheraton. We are doing everything including rental for right at $2000..and the best thing is my company is paying for 1500 of it
