Priceline refund due to hurricane Frances

We booked through Priceline for 3 nights in Tampa for this weekend, for a total cost of about $250.

Despite their 'no refunds' policy, we were pleased when we called Priceline on Friday and they readily agreed to issue us a refund. We would have been just as happy for a raincheck, but the credit on the credit card is even better.

Not to be overly cynical, but I suspect the hotel/P'line was happy to do this because hotels in Tampa are full of east coast refugees -- we hope they are not being gouged for a lot more than you would have paid.
