Priceline/HotWire Better Bidding Assistance

There used to be a site, something like Better Bidding for Less?, that was run by a woman named Sheryl, which gave advice on how to structure your bid for Priceline or Hotwire. Haven't used it in a long time, bookmark has evaporated. Anyone have this site? Does this still exist? Anything better to use for bidding strategy development? Want to do a Priceline hotel bid. Thanks a lot!

also betterbidding.com

I don't think either site gets the traffic they once did making them less relevant then they once were.

...especially since Hotwire pretty much tells you exactly the hotel that you're gonna get these days. And you can use that to figure out what to bid on Priceline.

I use betterbidding.com for the list of Hotwire and Priceline hotels and their star ratings. I still do blind bids on Hotwire because the prices are better using that option. I would not bid on a hotel at less than 3.5 stars. I prefer Hotwire to Priceline for several reasons. The price may be a bit higher, but it's still a deal and the service has been better for me.

There is also a service, www.bidpricecheck.com where you buy points (about $1.99 each) you use to purchase the information to make a bid for a hotel or rental car on Priceline. I used it for a trip not long after I found out about it and have to say it worked just as promised! More recently I have used it as kind of a research tool to determine if it was worth my time to do a bid--i.e., what they tell me will be an accepted bid is more than I want to spend.

I think you're thinking about http://www.hoteldealsrevealed.com or http://www.betterbidding.com

Both these sites are Hotwire / Priceline centric.
