We LOVE Port Orleans...
This is truly a gem on disney property. We have stayed there 3 times...We live in Florida...and it is always our first choice.
Don't expect fancy stuff, but the pool is great for kids and the transportation system makes it really a bargain.

Yest, it's a great place to stay! HOwever, I must warn you that unless you four year old is very tall for his/her age, he/she will not be allowed to go down the wonderful slide. Our little guy was five, under the minimum height and was heartbroken.

Port Orleans is wonderful. You didn't say when your trip was going to be. If you are a government employee (I am a teacher & qualify) you can get the Dolphin or the Swan for the same price as the Port Orleans!! $119.00 It is not a Disney hotel but it is right there at Epcot.

Also the All Star hotels (sports, music & movie) are nice for around $75.00.

If you can get a Magic Kingdom Club membership through your employer or credit union (usually free) this will save you money during certain times of the year on your Disney hotel.

Let me know if I hit on anything you'd like more info on.

Also, try this site, if you have a question of any Disney kind, they can answer it!!http://209.1.93.30/password/club:/hall.shtml

Disney does a good job with all of their moderate properties...the only thing that would bug me a bit about most of them is the quality of food that is available. I might be tempted to rent a frig.
