Please tell me what you consider the best day spa in Houston area?
I am looking to give a gift to someone who lives in Richmond, outside Houston. This is meant to be a very special gift. I plan to spend between $200-250. I would really appreciate your suggestion and if you can tell me why you select one over another. I read about Trellis, the spa at The Houstonian Hotel, and also Sensia Studio and Japanese Day Spa. Are these the top 2 or do you know of something better? Thank you very much.

I have been to Trellis at the Houstonian twice... once for a mani/pedi and a massage and once for a body wrap. All treatments were excellent the technicians were wonderful.. the massage by Kate or Katie a few years ago was the best I have ever had. Their facilities are very nice and I would love to receive a gift certificate there... I doont think you could go wrong there. Did you go to their website and look at their services?
Sorry I havent been to the others but hopefully someone else will chime in.

onemoneygirl, yes it looks very nice from what I can tell by reviewing the site. It is good to hear about your positive experience and high recommendation. if I don't hear from anyone else I will probably go ahead with Trellis. Thank you very much.

http://www.forbestravelguide.com/four-star-spas.htm is a list of four star spas as rated by Forbes Travel. Trellis is listed, the only one from the Houston area ... there are also five star spas (click the link the top of the page) but none in Texas.
