Pittsburgh-Wedding Rehearsal Dinner
Hi,
My husband and I will have the honor of hosting our son's rehearsal dinner in Pittsburgh next September. We anticipate approximately 25 people will attend. I'm looking for some recommendations/ideas -- good restaurant, dinner cruise, etc. We're not TOO concerned about cost but want something fun (and maybe a little different) where a (probably stressed out) group can relax and enjoy.
Thanks so much for any help you can offer!

there are many excellent restaurants in PGH..and also the Gateway Clipper Fleet party boats....Pgh encompasses a huge area....give me an idea of what part of town the church would be on and I`ll have a better idea..I`ll
list some rest.for you....Mt. Washington .Clipper Ships or Grand Concourse(at Station Square, where you board the Ships) might be some good suggestions...if it were me,I would ask my future daughter-in-law or son(if he lives there)for some ideas...

Please tell us which part of the city/suburbs the locals will be coming from. We are a quirky bunch here who detest traveling from the western suburbs to the eastern, from the northern to the southern - thanks to the lovely (NOT) highway system we enjoy.

We just had dinner last week at Monterey Bay - a (primarily) seafood place on Mt. Washington w/ okay food but spectacular views of the city. The restaurant is located on the upper floors of an apartment building, and they do have a private dining room. Their phone # is 412 481 4414; fax # is 481 4448. As previous posters suggested, let us know the part of the city you're centered in and better suggestions will be forthcoming. Congratulations!
PS -- Tin Angel IS still open; it gets mixed reviews these days.
