We've taken a couple of Pink Jeep trips and they are always great. We took one a month ago and it was very cold with flakes of snow coming down, but was still worth it. No need to make reservations as far as I could see, they take tours every hour or half hour. It will be VERY hot in June, so you might want to go early in the a.m.

Jenn,
I took the Pink Jeep tour over memorial day weekend a couple years ago. It was a nice and interseting way to see the red rocks in Sedona. I can't remember the name of the tour we took (each tour goes up further into the rocks), but it cost 60$ per person. Plus we tipped 20$ total (four of us) to the driver. However, I WOULD make a reservation. I asked the woman on the phone for a description of each tour. ( They also describe them on their web site, but I am not sure what it is exactly). Post if you have more questions.

Hi Jennifer! We took one of the Pink Jeep tours a few years ago (broken arrow?). There are a couple other companies who also run such tours but we can't tell you whether Pink Jeep was better/same/worse. We can tell you it was a great experience & we were very glad we went at the urging of good friends. Enjoy!

My experience with a pink jeep tour was horrible -- maybe we were just unlucky. We had a driver whose main goal was to show how macho he could be. All we did was keep running up over big rocks as he bragged about how none of the other drivers could maneuver a jeep the way he could. When people started to complain that we were really there to see scenery, he kept saying, "what's the matter, you people a bunch of wimps? Can't take the excitement?" We and the others complained to the company at the end of the tour. I really think this was an isolated incident, though, but wanted to warn you to check specifically that it isn't just a "thrill ride".

We did a Pink Jeep tour a few years ago. There are lots of different companies and they all offer several different tours that take you to different sites. Our Pink Jeep tour took us to some Indian Ruins that were really great. See what sites the different tours take you to and pick the most interesting to you. Our Pink Jeep guide was really great. She pointed out lots of different plants and wildlife that we would have missed.
