pigeon forge area restaurants

My family of 6 will be staying in Pigeon Forge for a week. Does anyone have some good restaurant suggestions, maybe off the beaten track?
Thanks

Try the Old Mill. It's a block off the main drag on the end of town toward Gatlinburg.

Hi there...Pigeon Forge is pretty touristy, we ate at a great sandwich shop though next door to our hotel, the Hampton Inn, right on the main highway, good food for reasonable prices.

Old Mill & Apple Barn. There have been a lot of same old chains pop up like weeds in the past couple years. There are also a lot of pancake houses to try. My very favorite is Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg on the Parkway (parking in garage adjacent to aquarium is very close). Bring cash, they don't take plastic. Expect to wait. You'll be rewarded!

I like Old Mill better for lunch than dinner, when the prices jump for about the same food.

We had my parents' 50th anniversary dinner at the Park Grill in Gatlinburg. We had 32 people. All ordered off the regular menu, we were given great service, and everyone one, all 32 of us, thought the food was fantastic.
