phoenix stay

Coming to Phoenix on business the beginning of August. Looked at Pointe Hilton Squaw, but my boss said to look at Sheraton Crescent. Don't know if work would okay stay at Ritz but I still would like somewhere great, pool, roomy rooms!! Thanks!bb

Where do you need to go to for work? Pointe Hilton Squaw is not near most companies...

The Pointe Hilton at Squaw Peak, The Pointe Hilton at Tapatio are both wonderful places to stay. The Sheraton Crescent is the most accesible to the I-17 freeway and is absolutely gorgeous. There are so many beautiful hotels in Phoenix that you can't hardly pick a bad one, this is the summer you know, so rates are MUCH lower, If I had my choice it was definitely be one of the Pointes--for the view---but to each his own.

We stay at the Ritz often (rates are almost always much lower than the top resorts since the Ritz is not itself a resort)...great location, but pool is not a resort type pool either. But then again, the Crescent's isn't resort caliber either. Crescent's location isn't a plus...heavy commercial and apartment area, not scenic in any way.
The Pointes offer better views and pools, but the Crescent's rooms are better than the other two.
Can you stay in Scottsdale?

I just returned from 5 days in the Phoenix area and would STRONGLY recommend staying at the Phoenician - INCREDIBLE! If you can, stay in a Casita - absolutely gorgeous property with a totally AMAZING staff. Have a good time.
