How much would a trip like this cost by driving? (everything included)

Matt- I think someone on your other thread said it was 910 miles Phoenix to Denver. Depending on what type of car you have figure out your miles per gallon. Once you calculate how many gallons it will take to drive 910 miles, multiply by that by around $3.00 per gallon of gas.

If you plan to spend the night, add in the hotel room and also costs of food. I would imagine with gas, hotel and food you could get there for around $200-$250. If you drive straight through and eat at McDonalds, it will be about half that price.

Also Matt, if you have questions about the same topic, just keep adding to the first thread instead of starting new ones. That makes it much easier to follow and you will get more answers that way.

It's too long a trip to do straight through without two drivers; a good stopping place would be Cortez or Durango (depending on route).
