Pet Friendly Hotels in Key West

I'm thinking of heading out there for 2 nights with DH and our dog for my birthday. Any one know of any hotels in the area that accept pets?

Thank you so much!
I can only check these things out at work since my computer at home is broken. We have no internet access at work. I only have access to Fodor's because my job is travel related and they consider this site a help tool so it's allowed.

I found two hotels in Key West that allow pets. Neither specifically mentions dogs or the amount of the deposit so it's probably a good idea to call and ask.

I marked up quick map of where they are located (the two pet friendly hotels are marked with stars). The link below should show you the map

Many of the bars at the Key West Bight are pet friendly. Here is a regular at the Schooner Wharf...

I don't know of any hotels specifically, but if you look on Expedia or Travelocity, you can select "Pets Allowed" as an amenity.

Be sure to look at fees charged for dogs. We stayed at a hotel once that charged a $100 cleaning fee! Some hotels charge between $10-25 per night for dogs, while others are completely free.

At one time a few years ago I was looking for such a hotel, but many of them that allowed dogs required that if you left them alone in the room they needed to be crated. My dog has never been crated so I wouldn't do it.
